Barnyard Buddies Week 2 - Day 3

The last day of camp and there was still so much to do and see! We got straight to work on the farm so our campers didn’t miss out on a single thing.

We started our day with a visit to the ponies! Patches was nice enough to come out and play, letting us pet her and groom her. While they weren’t playing with Patches, our campers pretended to ride horses by sitting on saddles. So cute!

One of the farm cats even stopped by to say hello to our amazing Barnyard Buddies.

After saying goodbye to Patches, we trekked back to the classroom where we had a special activity awaiting. The campers made their very own homemade butter to go along with the zucchini muffins from the zucchini they picked from the garden and grated on Day Two! These campers sure do have some strong muscles to turn cream into some delicious butter.

Once the butter was complete, it was time to head outside to play with the parachute! They had so much fun running around and popping balls like popcorn on top of the parachute.

Before heading inside, we took our amazing campers to play on the hay bales! They loved getting to climb and run around on top of the huge pile.

Before eating lunch, the Barnyard Buddies created some fantastic farm scenes with stickers. They created elaborate stories to go along with their pictures!

Then, it was lunch time. The wagon was wet due to the slight rain so we headed to the gazebo to eat lunch and wait until the wagon could dry before taking our last wagon ride of camp.

After the wagon ride, the campers had one last chance to say goodbye to all the animals. We even stopped in the hay loft for a quick dance break before heading back inside!

Once we were all tired out from dancing, we came inside to enjoy the zucchini muffins and delicious homemade butter! Yum!

It was then time for us to say goodbye to an amazing group of campers!
