Hello campers and parents! Welcome back for the final day of Animal & Nature camp!
The morning started off with animal chores. Campers also got the chance to say goodbye to some of their favorite animals!
The green peppers spent time with the poultry. They fed them strawberry scraps that were left over from today’s recipe. The turkeys, however were not interested in this tasty treat!
There’s no better way to slide into the weekend than with a slip-and-slide! The peppers made sure to get a running start before heading down. We also added some dish soap to make it extra fast!
The farm stand was freshly stocked today by all of our campers. They harvested produce from the garden and organized it to be sold. Be sure to stop by after camp to pick up some of your favorite fruits and veggies!
In the kitchen, campers made Peacock Pancakes. They cut fresh bananas and strawberries to add to colored pancake batter! If you want to make this recipe at home, follow the recipe card or the recipe listed below.
Cinnamon the llama had a very exciting day. Each pepper group took her for a hike around the farm. They also packed her up with water bottles to make sure everyone stayed hydrated!
Campers had a chance to practice their skits and songs. The red peppers used this time to create props and do a final rehearsal!
We had such a great time here on the farm. The weather was beautiful and we were able to do so many fun activities! Thank you for spending the week with us and we hope to see you all soon!
