Hello campers and welcome back for the fifth and final day of Animal Camp! The morning started as usual with the flag ceremony. The orange peppers got a chance to raise the flag for the last time!
For animal chores, the red peppers took care of the poultry. Some heartfelt goodbyes were said to all of the chickens.
In the kitchen, campers made Pony Pesto Pasta. They harvested herbs from the garden for the pesto, and cut dough for the noodles. If you want to make this recipe at home follow the recipe card below or your recipe card!
Today campers focused on horses. Not only did they get a chance to ride, they also took the heartbeat of our pony Patches. Pepper groups discussed some interesting facts about these cool animals!
In the afternoon, the peppers decided to play some hose games. What a great way to cool off on a hot and sunny day!
What a great week we had here on the farm! Thank you for spending a week with us and we hope to see you again soon!
