Frequently asked questions

Where is Bowers Farm Camp located?

Our camp is located on E Square Lake Road between Adams Road and Squirrel Road. The address is 1219 E Square Lake Road Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304. When you pull in our entrance, the Learning Center parking lot is located to your right. If you are still having trouble finding our location, please call (248)-341-6475.

What does a typical day of camp look like?

Each day of camp involves animal chores, garden harvesting time, and activities that are tailored to the theme of that week. A sample schedule would look like the following: Campers are split into "Pepper" groups to be with age-appropriate peers. Each day will start with gathering to remind campers about the CARES guidelines and then meet by the flagpole for the flag ceremony. From there, the groups will begin to go into their activities from chores, garden time, cooking at garden kitchen, or various activities revolving around science and agriculture. Lastly, the groups will gather in their own quiet space to reflect upon the day and wait for pick up.
